Hans komm essen, Lasagne is pferdig*

► A Swashbuckling Campaign with my Family
ZitatWilliam, 5, is the youngest. He's starting kindergarten this fall and isn't really reading yet, although he's starting to recognize words and can write his letters. He is incredibly independent, though, and frequently acts beyond his years.

[...]

William let me know that he wanted to play a guy with a big sword who would chop the heads off of evil pirates. Especially some guy named Pirate Poopypants. To help me out, he drew a picture of his character with a big sword in one hand and a popsicle in the other. Oh, and he was also an explorer who could talk to natives. And he was good at bowling ("I always get a strike!"). And finally, he wanted to have bombs. This was another fairly easy PDQ# conversion.

Ich liebe gute Spielberichte.

Nocturama

Gott, ist der Spielbericht süß  :D

ZitatMichael said he wanted to play a cowboy with a penguin. (He adores penguins.)

"NO!" Jonathan and Allison shouted in unison. "No cowboys! No penguins!"

Harry

Japp.

Narrenspiel

Characters need conflict to come alive. Walk in their shoes, and see the world from their eyes ... and then let yourself feel what they feel. This process immediately and automatically sets up a conflict, even if this is a conflict between you and the character. Doesn't mean you can't be sympathetic, but you must be prepared to let your character argue with you, or take a stand, or even defy you.
